Council Meetings During COVID-19

To help prevent the community-wide spread of COVID-19, and to adhere to the Ministerial Order M0192, Council is no longer required to allow the public to attend open meetings. Until further notice and for the duration of the Order, the public will not be permitted to attend Council meetings.

Public Feedback Submissions

Instead, individuals can have their submission(s) or public feedback forwarded to Council via e-mail at Written submissions can be submitted to City Hall by 12:00 p.m. on the WEDNESDAY prior to the scheduled Council meeting to be inlcluded in the Agenda Package. Submissions received after this deadline will be circulated to Council for general discussion purposes at the meeting. All submissions are subject to the Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act.

How to Access Meetings Remotely

Individuals can also access the Council Meetings remotely, via a Zoom Webinar. Steps to access live Council Meeting Webinars are listed below:

Visit and follow the on-screen instructions.

3. Register for a Council Meeting Webinar

To view a Council Meeting Webinar, you first need to register by clicking on the link at the top of the Agenda Package. These links are unique to each meeting, so please click the link in the Agenda of the meeting you wish to join.

After clicking the link, you will need to enter your first name, last name, and email address. Once registered, you will receive a confirmation email with a "Click Here to Join" link. Click this link to view the meeting (when that meeting is scheduled).
