 The Planning Department is responsible for:  

• Implementation of Council directives concerning all land development proposals.
• Assisting the public with the application of all Land Use Regulations. 
• Administering the Zoning Regulations, Official Community Plan,  other relevant regulations along with ensuring all land development proposals meet the provisions of the Land Title Act and related statutes. 
• The municipal mapping program.
• Approving Subdivisions.
