Rossland offers an array of choices for K-12 students, providing something for every learning style and inclination.

Rossland Summit School (K – 9)

 RSS’ innovative approach and dedicated educational team have garnered it consistently high rankings.  It has a small school community feel that welcomes students and families.  Among its offerings: late French immersion (Gr. 6 – 9), a full suite of electives, on-site outdoor classroom, and educational wetland.

École des Sept-Sommets (K – 7)

 L’école des Sept-sommets offre aux élèves de 4 ans à la 7e année une éducation en français. L’inscription à l’école francophone est ouverte aux familles de Rossland, Trail, Warfield, Castlegar et Fruitvale dont au moins un parent est d’origine francophone. L’école des Sept-sommets offre une éducation personnalisée et authentique en contexte culturel francophone ainsi qu’un éventail d’activités sportives, culturelles et communautaires soutenant l’apprentissage.

Seven Summits Centre for Learning (8 – 12)  

A charitable educational centre partnered with SD71 Navigate program, offering a blended learning model and a welcoming low student-to-mentor environment. Many of its students take advantage of its flexible learning schedule to participate in one of Rossland’s world class downhill, cross-country and free ski academies or pursue other passions in their life.

J.L. Crowe Secondary School (8 – 12)

 Many Rossland students complete their high school education at “the Crowe”, a short bus ride away in nearby Trail.  It offers a full suite of electives, athletics and social activities. Highlights include state-of-the art science labs, outdoor academy and hockey academy programs.
