Online Payments and Services

ONLINE BILL PAYMENTS

Using the City of Rossland online bill payment system, you can pay your property taxes, water, sewer and garbage user fees, parking tickets, business license fees, dog license fees and accounts receivable invoices.

The payment options on the City’s website are preauthorized debit from your bank account, Mastercard or Visa.  Please be advised that there is a convenience fee charged to you when you use Mastercard or Visa, but there are no extra fees for preauthorized debit from your bank account.

Before being able to access your accounts and make payments on your accounts, you must first register, you only need to register once.  Your email address will be your user name and you will create a password and you will use these for future access to your accounts.

Once you have registered, you must then add your accounts to your profile.  During the registration process you must put your street address and your mailing address.  You will need the access code which is printed on your invoice to add your account.

When you receive your invoices (dog, property taxes, business license, etc), they will have an account number and access code printed on them so that you can add those accounts to your profile.

If you would like to register or make an online bill payment, click on the link below.

HOME OWNER GRANT

Residents can pay their property taxes online and for those eligible, claim their Home Owner Grant online. For property owners to view their property tax information and pay their accounts online, they must have their email address and password.  Please note that it is a two step process if you are claiming your Home Owner Grant online and paying your property taxes online. First, claim the grant by clicking on the Homeowner Grant option below. You may then proceed to pay the balance owing on your property taxes by proceeding to the Online Payments option. If you have any questions on this procedure, please contact the City's Property Tax Department at 250 362-7396.

If you are eligible for the Home Owner Grant but choose not to claim it online, you must be sure to remit the completed Home Owner Grant application to City Hall. If you claim the Home Owner Grant online, you do not need to provide the original.
