The City of Rossland recently received a grant from the Columbia Basin Trust to further investigate the possible need for, location for, and style of a public washroom in the downtown core. The need has arisen from public feedback regarding a lack of public facilities for residents & visitors alike when shopping or visiting our downtown. The need for a public washroom is especially important during special events like Rossland Winter Carnival, Golden City Days and more.

Currently, the City is seeking public input on the need, location and style of a washroom. Click here for more information.

Please click here to provide feedback, or attend our public information event taking place at the Miners' Hall January 9th from 4-6pm.
