Zoning

Zoning is a way of regulating the use of land by designating properties for a specific use or range of uses, density siting and building form. In Rossland, properties are assigned a specific zone, which is described in the zoning bylaw and amendments to this bylaw.

Zoning Bylaws are not the only regulatory tool that may impact the development of your property. It is important to review your title and strata regulations and to contact the City for more details on development considerations.
