Interior Health hosts more pop-up vaccine clinics in Kootenay Boundary

 

KOOTENAY-BOUNDARY – Interior Health is hosting drop-in immunization clinics in the Kootenay-Boundary area for anyone who has not yet received their first dose of the COVID-19 vaccine, and anyone who received their first dose more than 28 days ago.

 

People can walk-up, register and receive their first or second COVID-19 vaccine.

BC Funding For Creating New Child Care Spaces

BC has new funding available to create additional licensed child care facilities which are much needed in this area. Numbers currently show Rossland only has spaces for 14% of the children that may need child care.

If you've considered opening a facility but finances have been a barrier look for BC's New Spaces Fund at this link http://www.gov.bc.ca/childcare/newspacesfund 

Deadline for applications is November 16, 2021.

The City is required by the Local Government Act to sell properties whose taxes have not been paid for three years at a tax sale. Below is a general outline of the tax sale process.
