PRESS RELEASE – FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

CHANGES TO ROSSLAND RECREATION PROGRAMMING DUE TO AIR QUALITY

Due to wildfire throughout BC and the United States, Rossland Recreation staff is monitoring the air quality in Rossland on an ongoing basis. As the Air Quality Health Index conditions were recorded as ‘very high risk’ this morning, staff have adjusted their programming and facility schedules accordingly.

In order to protect staff and patrons, summer camps and all outdoor programming has been moved indoors to various facilities. Staff will continue to monitor the conditions and make necessary adjustments.
