The purpose of the Public Hearing is to consider the following: 

Zoning Amendment Bylaw 2750 – Short Term Rental Zoning Removal

 To rezone multiple properties (located at 1488 Columbia Ave, 1492 Columbia Ave, 2414 Leroi Ave and 2236 Columbia Ave) from R1-STR to R1– I Residential Infill.  The City is removing the Short-Term Rental (STR) zoning from the properties listed above as they no longer meet the conditions required to maintain the STR zoning, or the owners no longer wish to continue with the zoning. The removal of the zoning will create the potential for other neighbouring properties, who meet the conditions, to apply to rezone for STR operation.
